The Madras High Court adjourned to Friday hearing on an anticipatory bail application filed by S. Chandran, a follower of Swami Nithyananda, who is wanted in connection with a sex scandal case.
When the hearing on the anticipatory bail plea filed by S. Chandran alias Sri Nithya Sarvananda came up on Wednesday before Justice S. Nagamuthu, Government Advocate R. Muniapparaj sought more time.
According to Chandran, he was a Homoeopathy practitioner from 1983. He met with an accident and was bedridden for 16 years. Through his friend, he met Swami Nithyananda and was cured.
He conducted yoga classes for his patients and, at times, taught disciples of the swami. Now that the swami had been entangled in a sex scam, Chandran apprehended he would be arrested
