BANGALORE: The High Court has quashed the summons issued against Lenin Karuppan, former driver of the selfstyled godman Paramahamsa Nithyananda, by JMFC Court Ramanagar following a complaint by Anjula Jackson, a foreign devotee of the tainted seer.

Lenin had moved the court challenging the JMFC Court's issue of summons. Anjula, lodging a complaint with Ramanagar police, had alleged that he had violated Nithyananda's privacy, trespassed the living quarters of the selfstyled godman besides defamed the 'seer'. Later, the case was refereed to Bidadi police station.

The petitioner submitted that allegations made by the complainant did not satisfy the ingredients of the offence alleged against him. Taking cognizance of such a complaint and issuance of summons was bad in law and without application of mind by the Judge.

He also contended that the complaint was vexatious and an act of vengeance and as a consequence, following the complaint lodged by him against Nithyananda proceedings and sought to quash the complaint.

Hearing the petition Justice K V Keshavanarayana disposing off the petition filed by Lenin, directed the magistrate to consider the complaint afresh and quashed the order dated August 28, 2010 and the cognizance taken on October 30, 2010.

லெனின் கருப்பனுக்கு சம்மன்: உயர்நீதிமன்றம் தடை

பெங்களூர், மார்ச் 31: நித்யானந்தாவின் முன்னாள் சீடர் லெனின் கருப்பனுக்கு கீழ்நீதிமன்றம் அனுப்பிய சம்மனை நிறுத்தி வைத்து உயர்நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது.

நித்யானந்தாவின் பெண் சீடரான அமெரிக்காவை சேர்ந்த அஞ்சுளா ஜாக்சன், லெனின் கருப்பனுக்கு எதிராக 2010 ஆகஸ்ட் 28-ம் தேதி ராமநகரம் மாவட்ட நீதிமன்றத்தில் வழக்கு தொடர்ந்திருந்தார்.

 அதில், இந்திய தண்டனை சட்டத்துக்கு எதிராகப் பல்வேறு குற்றங்கள் இழைத்து நித்யானந்தாவுக்கு எதிரான வீடியோவை லெனின் கருப்பன் தயாரித்துள்ளதாக தெரிவித்துள்ளார். மேலும், இந்திய சட்டம், தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப விதிகளுக்கு எதிராக செயல்பட்டு, தனி நபர் சுதந்திரத்தில் அத்துமீறி நுழைந்துள்ளதாகப் புகாரில் அவர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

இதை விசாரித்த மாவட்ட நீதிமன்றம், லெனின் கருப்பனை நீதிமன்றத்தில் ஆஜராகும்படி சம்மன் அனுப்பியது. இதற்கு லெனின் கருப்பன் ஜனவரி 13-ல் உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தில் இடைக்காலத் தடை பெற்றார்.

இந்தத் தடையை நீக்குவதற்காக அஞ்சுளா ஜாக்சன், உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தில் மனுதாக்கல் செய்திருந்தார். இதை வியாழக்கிழமை விசாரித்த நீதிபதி கே.என்.கேசவநாராயணா, ராமநகரம் மாவட்ட நீதிமன்றத்தில் லெனின் கருப்பனுக்கு பிறப்பித்த சம்மனை நிறுத்தி வைத்து உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார். மேலும், சம்மன் உத்தரவை மறுபரிசீலனை செய்யுமாறும், சட்டத்துக்கு உட்பட்டு ஆணை பிறப்பிக்குமாறும் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

The court also directed the Judicial Magistrate to reconsider the order and pass an order in accordance with law.

Lenin had shot the controversial video purportedly showing Nityananda in a compromising position with a Tamil actress.

He was subsequently arrested in Solan district in Himachal Pradesh on April 21 and granted conditional bail on June 11.

Nithyananda entity sued for fraud in US

A group of non-resident Indians (NRIs) has moved legally to invoke a United States federal law, whose intended use is it to prosecute the American mafia, against a non-profit organisation of Nithyananda, who is already at the centre of a controversy.
About 30 NRIs recently filed in the superior court in San Bernardino county of California a criminal case against a Oklahoma-based non-profit organisation, Nithyananda Foundation, and two of its directors, Ma Nithya Sadhananda, alias D Jamunarani, and Siva Vallabhaneni, alias Nithya Sachitananda. The court summons was served on Sachitananda on March 4, but it could not be served on Jamunarani, the wife of Nithyananda’s secretary Sadhananda, alias Dhanasekaran, since she is absconding from the Bidadi ashram near here. The NRIs have slapped charges under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations (RICO) Act and other criminal and civil charges involving fraud, conspiracy, breach of contract and unfair business practices. Under RICO, a person who is a member of an enterprise that has committed any two of 35 crimes—27 federal crimes and eight state crimes—within a 10-year period can be charged with racketeering. Those found guilty of racketeering can be fined up to $25,000 and sentenced to 20 years in prison per racketeering count. In addition, the racketeer must forfeit all ill-gotten gains and interest in any business gained through a pattern of "racketeering activity." According to the petition in the San Bernardino court, a copy of which is available with Deccan Herald, Nithyananda has at all times “controlled and operated the foundation as his own personal asset and piggybank”. The petition alleges that Nithyananda “controls numerous other organisations and transfers monies from one entity to another at will, including monies from the foundation to a company, Nithyananda Export and Import, that was created, operated and is run by Nithyananda’s brother.” The petition provides a specific example of invoices totalling $550,386.82 from Nithyananda Imports and Exports to Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam Temple and Cultural Centre for statues that were worth less than $100,000.

'Not impotent, had sex with several women'NITHYANANDA

While last month, Swami Nithyananda and actress and Ranjitha categorically denied their role in the alleged sex romp captured on camera, the former confessed before Criminal Investigation Department (CID) sleuths that he did have sex with his disciples, but with consent.


In the interrogation report recorded by the CID, a copy of which is with MiD DAY, the disgraced swami admitted that he had sex with the actress. Initially Nithyananda claimed that he does not get sexually aroused as he is neither man nor woman, but after the CID screened the controversial video for him, he told the investigating officer that it was indeed him in the video.

The self-styled swami said that he was not impotent, but only had an erectile dysfunction, swearing that whatever he told CID officials during the interrogation was only the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Elaborating on his sexual life at his ashram, he admitted that, apart from the actress, he had sex with more than 15 other women, but did not remember their names. He admitted that what he did was wrong and that sometimes he chose female devotees to have sex with, and sometimes they were already willing to do so themselves.

Justifying his misdeeds, the disgraced swami said that he had done nothing illegal, although his deeds might be socially and religiously wrong. He said that he might have had sex with many people, but never did he force anyone and all the encounters were voluntary. He also said that he just wanted to come out his present mess.

It may be recalled that Ranjitha, at a press conference held in Bangalore last month, denied that she was the woman in the video with Nithyananda. She added that the details had been fabricated and also lodged a case against Lenin Karuppan, Nityananda's former driver who taped the act , Ranjitha also claimed that she had no recollection of any kind of sexual exploitation by Nithyananda.

The Other Side
Speaking to Ranjitha's advocate, Gajendra Naidu regarding Nityananda's confession, we asked him what the confession meant and how it would stand in a court of law. He differed the confessional statement, saying that it would be unacceptable in a court.

Explaining further, he said, "When an accused confesses his crime before the investigating authority, they should recover facts related to the crime, which are permissible in a court of law and not just a confession made before cops. This is generally considered to have been made under duress and does not stand in court.

Sathyananda is based on Nithyananda

Director Madan Patel, who belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party, has dared to do a movie based on the recent expose of Swamy Nithyananda's scandal. The film has been titled Sathyananda and Madan describes it as his most ambitious project, which started rolling from last week.

The muhuratha of Sathyananda was recently held at the Freedom Park in Bangalore. Addressing the media, Madan Patel said, "I am a staunch believer in Hinduism, which is facing a big threat these days. Some fraudulent, self proclaiming god men are playing with the beliefs and trust of Hindus. I want to expose them and create awareness among the people."

The Kannada film producer is success in finding Ravi Chethan for the lead role (Nithyananda) in the film Sathyananda. He has approached Nimitha and Charmi for female lead, which is yet to be confirmed. Dinakar has written the dialogues and Ragu is the cameraman for the film.

However, the film launch of Sathyananda was a grand event, which was attended by several top politicians including Home Minister R Ashok. The shooting of the first day was held at Freedom Park after taking a few shots of the muhurath.

Karnataka high court dismisses contempt petition filed by Nithyananda's disciple

Karnataka high court today dismissed a contempt of court petition filed against a criminal investigation department (CID) officer by a woman disciple of self-styled godman Nithyananda, facing charges of rape.

A division bench, comprising Justice K Shridhar Rao and Justice K Govindarajulu, dismissed the petition filed by Anjula Jackson, against the officer, Yogappa submitting that "the investigating officer had interfered in the course of justice".

Yogappa has been investigating the charges against Nithyananda.

whaen Nithy is denying that its not him in the video, S.V. sekar blabbered and made a fool of himself.

And he also said that Nithy should have been careful when someone came in to the ashram with a name lenin. ((Did he know that Gyananand awas a christian? and there are many others who are christians?))

He also said that you can use ganja and keep saying om namashivaya. but you can't have ganja and think of namitha, a sexy actress. ( what is he trying to say? is he taking for nithy or against?))

Gyananada got up to speak. he said today the hindu dharma is being burnt. All people know is to watch " manada mayilada" ( its a tv dnace program) or "peyada nayada" . this word is his own which means devil and dogs dancing. ( I hope the media take sit seriously as a TV program is being mocked at by the so called protecters of hindu dharma.)

Gyana further said that ladies have developed tyres around their midriff, IN a very vulgar tamil word, and dyanapeetam is the only salvation for them who teaches yoga and meditation ( what about tantric sex)

He also proudly said that despite being beaten and humiliated only Nithy has the guts to start a political party like this

Nithyananda supporters get bail

Bangalore: A Ramanagaram court on Friday granted bail to three supporters of self-styled godman Nithyananda, who is allegedly embroiled in a sex scandal, in connection with an alleged assault case on Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials.
Bidadi police on Thursday evening had arrested Nithya Sachidanda, Nithya Dayananda and Santhosh when they allegedly obstructed CID officials who had come to the ashram for routine investigation.
The three were produced before the court on Friday noon.
“The court released them on conditional bail,” Deputy Superintendent of Police (Ramanagaram) M.G. Ramakrishna told The Hindu. Meanwhile, another accused, Nithya Athma Prabhu, is still absconding.
The four allegedly deterred government officials from discharging their duty at the ashram.
Bidadi police said CID officials had gone to the ashram to get a sample signature of a woman inmate, Ma Nitya Sadananda.

பெங்களூர்: வீடியோ விவகாரத்தில் கைதாகி சிறையில் இருந்த நித்யானந்தா ஜாமீனில் வெளியே வந்து தற்போது பெங்களூர்- மைசூர் சாலையில் உள்ள பிடுதியில் தனது தியான பீடத்தில் தங்கி இருந்து ஆன்மீகப் பணிகளில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகிறார்.

இந் நிலையில் நித்யானந்தா மீது சுமத்தப்பட்டுள்ள குற்றச்சாட்டுக்கள் தொடர்பாக மாநில குற்றப்பிரிவு போலீசார் தொடர்ந்து விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர்.

நேற்று தியான பீடத்துக்கு போலீசார் சென்றபோது நித்யானந்தாவின் சீடர்களுக்கும், குற்றப்பிரிவு போலீசாருக்கும் இடையே வாக்குவாதம் ஏற்பட்டது.

இதற்கிடையே குற்றப் பிரிவு போலீசார் தேடி வந்த மாசாதனந்தா என்ற ஜமுனா காரில் ஏறிச் சென்று விட்டார். அவர் எங்கு சென்றார் என்பது தெரியவில்லை. இதையடுத்து மாநில குற்றப்பிரிவு போலீசார் பிடுதி போலீஸ் நிலையத்தில் ஒரு புகார் தந்தனர்.

அதில் விசாரணைக்குரிய பெண்ணை காரில் அழைத்துச் சென்றுவிட்டதோடு ஆசிரமத்தில் உள்ள 3 பேர் எங்கள் கடமையை செய்ய விடாமல் தடுத்தனர் என்று கூறியிருந்தனர்.

இதையடுத்து நேற்று மாலை பிடுதி போலீசார் தியான பீட ஆசிரமத்துக்கு சென்று அங்கிருந்த நித்யானந்தாவின் சீடர்கள் சச்சிதானந்தா, தயானந்தா, சாந்தி மயானந்தா ஆகிய மூன்று பேரையும் கைது செய்தனர். பிறகு அவர்களை விசாரணைக்காக போலீஸ் நிலையத்துக்கு அழைத்துச் சென்றனர்.

Three disciples of Nithyananda arrested

Bangalore: Three disciples of self-styled godman Nithyananda were arrested at his ashram in Ramnagaram district for "obstructing" police who were conducting investigations into criminal cases against him.

"The three disciples were arrested from the Godman's ashram in Bidadi last night as they obstructed police investigating criminal cases filed against the godman," Superintendent of Police Ramnagaram S P Bisnalli said.

All three were produced before a local court and remanded to judicial custody, he said.
Another disciple, against whom a case has been filed in the same connection (obstruction of police duty) could not be traced at the ashram and efforts are on to nab him, he said.

Bisnalli said a police team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police CID, Ramalingappa, the Investigation Officer in these cases, had gone to the ashram to get a sample signature of a lady disciple, Maha Nitya Sadananda.

On their arrival, they were asked for a search warrant, to which they said it was not needed as they only wanted a sample signature. The disciplies refused them entry, despite persistent requests, saying Sadananda was not there, he said.

Following the arrest, Nityananda's disciples have launched an indefinite fast since last night

Nithyananda devotees held

Bangalore, February 24, DHNS:
The Bidadi police on Thursday arrested three Nithyananda devotees on charges of spiriting away a woman, whose statement the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials sought to record, and obstructing them from performing their duty.
The three who were arrested around 6 pm after the CID lodged a complaint with the Bidadi police station are Sachitananda, alias Shiva Vallabhaneni, Dayananda and Shantimayananda. Sachitananda was arrested a few months ago in connection with the criminal case the CID filed against Nithyananda for alleged rape, unnatural sex and cheating, among other charges. According to police sources, the reason for the arrests was the involvement of the three in spiriting away Ma Sadhananda, wife of Nithyananda’s secretary Sadhananda, alias Dhanasekaran. In its complaint, the CID investigating officer claimed that he and some of his colleagues went to the Bidadi ashram on Thursday morning to record the statement of Ma Sadhananda, some devotees of Nithyananda. Nithyananda’s devotees then took Ma Sadhananda, alias Jamuna, away from the ashram in a car to an undisclosed location. CID sources said Ma Sadhananda’s statement was crucial because she was the one who was the co-signatory of the controversial non-disclosure agreement, that some male and female devotees signed on, which authorised Nithyananda to have tantra sex with them.

Accused NITHYANANDA refused travel permission

 Accused (no. 1) NITHYANANDA had filed a petition at the Ramnagar court requesting relaxation of his bail conditions and granting permission to travel abroad. Nithyananda's petition came up in Ramnagar court today. The state's prosecution presented very strong objections (on behalf of CID) to the petition by Nithyananda and argued very strongly against granting such permission.

After all arguments were presented, the court was set to dismiss the petition. Minutes before the petition was going to be dismissed Nithyananda's advocate hurriedly withdrew their petition!!

Court tells Nithyananda aide to move Ramanagaram court

BANGALORE: The State on Wednesday asked Nithya Bhaktananda, a close disciple of the controversial godman Nithyananda, to file his application for relaxation of bail before the Ramanagaram court.
Justice V. Jagannathan passed the order on a petition by Nithya Bhaktananda alias Seelam seeking the court's nod for releasing two conditions.
In his petition, Nithya Bhaktananda said the High Court had some time ago granted bail to him along with Swami Nithyananda.
Both are accused by the police in a sex-tape case.
While granting bail, the High Court had asked Nithya Bhaktananda not to leave the jurisdiction of the Ramanagaram court (where the hearing of a case filed by the Criminal Investigation Department is going on).
It had also asked him to mark attendance at the jurisdictional police station regularly.
To file returns
Swami Bhaktananda earlier known as Seelam wanted the High Court to relax both these conditions as he wanted to go to the United States where his wife is staying.
He said he would have to file his tax returns. He said he would be able to go to the U.S. only if these two bail conditions are relaxed.
Justice Jagannathan said since the bail condition had specifically said he should not leave the jurisdiction of the Ramanagaram court, it would be appropriate if the application is filed before the Ramanagaram Court.

He asked Nithya Bhaktananda to file an application before the Ramanagaram court for relaxation of bail conditions. The Ramanagaram court, in turn, was asked to list the case on Thursday itself and dispose of the petition.

Nithyananda aide’s plea: State to file objections

Bangalore, Feb 7, DHNS:

The State government on Monday submitted that it would file objections to the plea of Nithya Bhaktananda, close aide of Nithyananda, seeking relaxations of the conditional bail granted to him by the High Court.


While granting bail to Bhaktananda, one of the accused in the sex scandal involving Nithyananda and actor Ranjitha, he was directed to furnish a bond of Rs 50,000 and appear before the local police every 15 days. Most importantly, the court had directed him not to leave the jurisdiction of the Ramanagar court.

While seeking relaxation of the conditions, Bhaktananda stated that he hailed from the US and his family resided there. “I have to file returns on my income every year to the US government. Hence, I should be permitted to visit the US, by lifting the condition not to leave the jurisdiction of the Ramanagar court,” he stated. The judge adjourned the hearing of the case, after the State sought time to file objections.

'Ayyare' director blasts Godman Nithyananda
